A Girl form Scottsdale, Arizona name Lauren Gottlieb. Her nicknames are Misha, GottaLuver, and L*Boogz, and she entered the world of dancing at the age of seven.
She says that she has danced at a studio her whole life, and that she trained in various styles. Among these are hip-hop, tap dancing, lyrical, jazz, and ballet. Lauren calls her techniques and dance style a mix of jazz funk, hip-hop, and contemporary dance. She says that her most memorable dancing experience was winning a national title several years earlier.
The talent, the charm, the beauty and the humour, which Lauren Gottlieb exudes in her everyday life, also carries through to her performances both on-screen and on the dance floor. She has so very quickly established herself as one of Hollywood’s rising stars and one of the most sought-after dancers in the world.
America first show  Lauren take the stage on Season 3 of FOX Network’s hit reality series “So You Think You Can Dance”. Her love for dance and undeniable gift landed her a spot in the final six contestants. Once the season was over, the producers could not bare to have Lauren leave and quickly found a way for her return. Along with assisting the biggest choreographers attached to the show such as Tyce Diorio, Napoleon and Tabitha, and Mia Michaels during seasons 4, 5, and 6, Lauren was also chosen to travel on the
Season 5 audition tour as the highlighted choreographer for the “Choreography round.”
Lauren’s consistency, love for the stage, and passion for mentoring others made her an obvious choice to return as an All-Star for seasons 7, 8, and 9. This opportunity was a huge milestone at the beginning of her career as a professional dancer/choreographer.

Between seasons on the show, Lauren has continued leaving her mark in the industry performing with artists such as Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Shakira, Sean Kingston, Carrey Underwood, Willow Smith, and Enrique Iglesias. She made her way
onto the big screen appearing in movies such as Hannah Montana: The Movie, Disaster Movie, and Bring It On: Fight To The Finish. She was honored to become a private dance coach to some of the biggest celebrities in the business such as Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and Tobey Maguire. She became a featured dancer on the award-winning musical comedy, “Glee” in the hit rival crew “Vocal Adrenaline”. But it wasn’t until Jennifer Love Hewitt gave Lauren her first shot at acting on her show “Ghost Whisperer” that she found a new passion.

Lauren made a seamless transition into acting as she Guest Starred on ABC Family’s “Make It Or Break It” and CBS series, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.” Each role she found herself falling more in love with acting. Continuing her stride, Lauren starred in
“Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked,” in an epic dance battle against the Chipettes as well as the CGI for the character, “Alvin.”

Lauren’s fearlessness and dedication to stepping outside her comfort zone to continue her growth as an artist was soon tested when she joined the cast as the lead female in India’s highly anticipated, first ever, 3D dance film, “AnyBody Can Dance” (popularly known as ABCD) releasing worldwide in February 2013. . And she didn’t take the Bollywood challenge lightly. Apparently she studied Bharatnatyam and Kathak dance, as well as spoken Hindi, before filming began. Lauren spent 3 months learningHindi, Bollywood techniques, and filming in Mumbai alongside Indian film stars Prabhudheva, Kay Kay Menon, and Ganesh Acharya as well as stars from their hit dance show “Dance India Dance”, Salman Yusuff Khan and Dharmesh Yelande. Director Remo D’Souza was a fan of Lauren’s when she was on “So You Think You Can Dance” and said he knew he would one day bring her to Bollywood.
Aside from dancing, she also enjoys hobbies such as snowboarding and wake boarding. She cites her boyfriend Brian Tanaka as her favorite professional dancer, though she has yet to perform in a musical production or public event as a dancer herself. Likewise, no one else in her family dances professionally. Lauren hopes that from her stint on the show, she’ll be able to find herself and her own style of dancing, as well as having the opportunity to teach others. She hopes to be part of a major, international dance tour within the next ten years, as well as being able to star in her own feature film. From “So You Think You Can Dance” to multiple guest appearances on hit television shows, and now making her debut as the lead in a full length Bollywood feature film, Lauren Gottlieb has become a true international celebrity.
